Description: Born and raised in the small town of Alpine, Dennis Smith attended a little red brick school with just fourteen classmates. This lively children’s book takes the reader on a tour of Alpine as Dennis introduces you to his friends and their houses. The tour wouldn’t be complete without historical details only known to those who were raised in the little town.

The illustration depicting the houses of Dennis’ friends are curated from his past 60 years of creative works. The main subject of his oil paintings is Alpine, his lifetime of memories associated with friends, and the geography of the town. Dennis is a renowned sculptor and painter who paints using universal metaphors that draw the viewer in and teaches them about life in a way that only art can.
